Founded in 2013 by husband and wife, Marc & Kyla Scarborough, Love & Other’s talented and experienced team is a powerhouse of creativity, dedicated to client services, photography, video capture and post-production. Each member of the Love & Other team brings a wealth of experience across editorial, fashion, lifestyle, commercial and events, working collaboratively to uphold the high standards Love & Other sets for themselves and their clients.

Kyla
Founder
Kyla is the co-founder of Love & Other, building the studio alongside her husband Marc with a shared vision for timeless, editorial imagery and an exceptional client experience.
While she is often behind the camera crafting refined, emotion-rich photographs, Kyla also works closely with our couples throughout their journey — ensuring every detail feels considered, seamless and deeply personal. From initial consultation through to final delivery, her presence is felt across every facet of the studio.
Kyla brings an innate warmth and calm confidence to a wedding day. She believes the most powerful moments are the ones fully lived — which is why she gently encourages an unplugged celebration, allowing family and friends to be present, immersed, and connected.
When it’s time to transition from elegance to celebration, she is the first to turn up the music — Lady Marmalade on full volume — setting the tone for an unforgettable dance floor.
Her heart belongs to Hawaii, where golden light meets endless ocean, and her drink of choice is a perfectly balanced Amaretto Sour.
Marc
Founder
Marc is the co-founder of Love & Other and a creative force behind the studio’s distinctive photographic and cinematic style. With over a decade immersed in the world of weddings, he brings a rare combination of technical mastery, instinctive storytelling and effortless energy to every celebration.
Working seamlessly across both photography and film, Marc has an intuitive ability to anticipate moments before they unfold — capturing the in-between glances, the atmosphere, the movement and the emotion that define a truly exceptional wedding day.
Calm, connected and deeply experienced, Marc leads with confidence while keeping the energy elevated. His philosophy is simple: be fully present. The most meaningful images are born from moments that are genuinely lived.
Outside of weddings, you’ll find him on the golf course — his other sanctuary — or planning the next escape to Hawaii, a destination close to his heart (and where he and Kyla were married).
From a cold brew coffee at sunrise to a Siglo Appletini as the dance floor ignites — often to Wagon Wheel — Marc brings both refinement and good times in equal measure.
Tyson
Video & Production
Tyson is Love & Other’s Video Director, bringing a refined, cinematic sensibility to every celebration he captures. With over five years working full-time alongside Marc and Kyla — and as Kyla’s brother — he is deeply embedded in the heart of the studio and its creative vision.
Beyond weddings, Tyson has toured across Europe working on Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour, experience that informs his composure, precision and understanding of scale.
As one of our lead editors, he personally crafts both our signature highlight films and full documentary edits, shaping each story with intention from capture through to final delivery. Our couples can feel completely confident in being directed by him and captured through his lens — calm, considered and always in expert hands.
Paul J
Photography & Production
With his charming Scottish accent and effortless warmth, Paul instantly puts couples at ease from the moment he arrives. Having worked with Love & Other for over five years, he is an integral part of the studio’s creative foundation.
An experienced portrait and commercial photographer, Paul brings a refined eye and deep appreciation for detail — because, as he says, it’s all in the small details. For him, the ceremony is always a highlight — witnessing the emotion ripple through family and friends as they share in such a significant moment. These exchanges become the images that are treasured for generations.
Beyond the wedding day, Paul leads our photography post-production with meticulous care and precision. His attention to tone, consistency and detail ensures every gallery reflects the elevated, editorial standard Love & Other is known for.
Calm, confident and quietly directive, Paul ensures you feel completely supported throughout the day — with plenty of laughter along the way.
When he’s not photographing weddings, he’s adventuring with his two beautiful children and their Bernese Mountain Dog, having recently completed a lap around Australia with his family. His dance floor anthem is Mr Brightside, and his advice is simple: soak up every second — it all goes beautifully fast.
Paul M
Photographer & Video
A founding member of Love & Other, Paul has been part of the studio since day one. With over a decade of experience in the wedding industry, he knows instinctively how to anticipate and capture the moments you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
Moving seamlessly between photography and video, Paul brings both versatility and composure to every celebration. His relaxed presence — paired with a well-timed dad joke — ensures your day feels effortless, joyful and entirely natural. He has a rare ability to blend in like one of your guests, fitting comfortably among friends, family and the bridal party while quietly documenting the moments that matter most.
As the evening unfolds, you’ll likely find Paul on the dance floor, camera in hand, capturing the kind of moments you may not remember the next day — especially if Cup of Life makes an appearance.
Beyond the wedding day, Paul plays an integral role in the studio’s technical direction. Working closely with Marc, he helps oversee our data management, IT and storage systems — ensuring every memory is safeguarded with the highest level of care and precision.
When he’s not behind the lens, Paul is perfecting artisanal bread in the kitchen or pouring a glass of Averna Amaro — appreciating craftsmanship in all its forms.
Bella
Content Creation & Production
Bella leads Love & Other’s Content Creation division, bringing the insight and structure of an experienced producer to one of our most in-demand offerings. As content continues to play an integral role in the modern wedding experience, Bella ensures our couples receive thoughtful, beautifully crafted coverage designed to complement our photography and film.
Bright, warm and effortlessly engaging, Bella brings a joyful energy to every celebration while maintaining a refined, cinematic approach. Working closely with our video production team, she captures content with intention — ensuring it feels elevated rather than fleeting.
Beyond the wedding day, Bella is also a valued member of our editing team, crafting cinematic highlight films and documentary edits with care and precision. Her understanding of narrative and pacing ensures every piece of content — whether social, highlight or long-form — feels cohesive and considered.
Originally from Sydney, Bella remains loyal to the Swans and has a soft spot for a perfectly made Piña Colada.
Mikel
Photographer & Video
Mikel is one of our senior videographers, bringing more than 10 years of experience capturing weddings and telling stories through film.
He has an incredible ability to move through a wedding day with professionalism and ease, excelling in fast-paced environments while remaining calm, considered and always in control. His depth of experience means he knows where to be and when, ensuring all those special moments from your day are captured beautifully.
Mikel offers thoughtful direction when needed, helping our couples feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. His kind and nurturing nature also makes him a favourite with wedding guests, allowing him to connect easily with the people around him and capture genuine moments as they unfold.
Known for his technical expertise, Mikel also has more camera equipment in his kit than you could possibly imagine. When he’s not capturing a wedding, you’ll usually find him travelling, exploring somewhere new, or buying yet another piece of camera gear.
Danielle
Photographer & Production
Danielle has been part of the Love & Other story for close to a decade, working alongside Kyla and Marc for many years. Like Kyla and Marc, Dani is originally from Adelaide and has become an incredibly important part of our team.
A true people person, Dani has a natural ability to make everyone around her feel relaxed and at ease. She brings a warm, positive energy to every wedding day and is an absolute joy to have around—something our couples and their guests quickly discover.
Dani’s experience extends well beyond capturing weddings. For many years, she has worked as a lead within our post-production team, carefully editing our couples’ photographs with the same care and intention that goes into capturing them. Her understanding of the entire process gives her a unique perspective on what makes a beautiful, complete wedding gallery.
And when she’s not photographing weddings, Dani is also an incredibly talented pet photographer. So, for couples including their fur babies in their wedding day, you really couldn’t ask for a better person behind the camera.
