Kyla
Studio Founder
Kyla is Love & Other’s co-founder (alongside hubby Marc). When she’s not behind the camera you’ll find her working closely with Love & Other’s amazing clients. Kyla works across all facets of the business so you’ll no doubt come across her beautiful smiling face. There’s not much she can’t do! Her advice for the big day is to make sure you have your family be in the moment with you and to have an “unplugged” wedding - that means no phones! To get the party started she pumps ‘Lady Marmalade’ - LOUD! Her favourite destination is Hawaii and her poison is a Pina Colada.
Shanette

Shanette is compassionate, adventurous and easy going. You’ll feel equally at home and eager to try something new in her presence. Known as Shan, Shani or Netty to her friends, she has been compared time and again to Pocahontas, both for her adventurous spirit and gorgeous long hair. Shanette knows that your special day can fly by in the blink of an eye so encourages her clients to embrace every moment as it comes. When she’s not behind the camera she’s spending time with her family and two bunny rabbits Simba & Milkshake, playing escape room board games or on VR. A Rockstar Martini paired with ‘Baila Esta Cumbia’ by Selena are her fail safe party starters. If she could be anywhere in the world it would be Preah Sihanouk Beach in Cambodia.
Connor
Videographer / Post Production
After receiving his first camera at the ripe old age of 11, the tallest man on Earth, Connor, has never looked back. Fourteen years on, he’s done everything from directing, producing, cinematography, editing, sound recording, sound design and soundtrack composing. He has a deep love for what he does, particularly balancing visuals with a perfectly timed soundtrack. ‘Fireflies’ by Owl City is his go-to party starter but the city of dreams, New York of course, is the one that has his heart. When he’s not creating photographic or cinematographic magic (say that 3 times fast), you’ll find him obsessing over the Blackburn Rovers, the Essendon Bombers or playing FIFA.
Tyson

Tys, TJ, T-Pain. Whatever you call him, you better look out when his favourite song ‘Where's Your Head At’ by Basement Jaxx comes on and his dangerous moves hit the dancefloor. A tower of a man, Tyson is the very big little brother of Founder & Owner Kyla and is Love & Other’s Studio Assistant. Over the past 4 years with us Tys has found his specialty in post production and is a lead videographer and assistant photographer out of South Australia. Creative, fun and kind, when he’s not shooting your special day you’ll find Tyson exploring his photo and video creativity in other areas or spending time in his fav place - Innes National Park on the Yorke Peninsula. An extra salty-rimmed margarita is the way to his heart

Marc
Studio Founder
Self-confessed good-times guy Marc is Love & Other’s co-founder and is also a photographer, videographer and the go-to for all your wedding entertainment needs. With 10 years of experience in weddings under his belt he’s clever, creative, connected and so much fun so you’ll be in safe hands with Marc! His advice for the big day is to be present in everything single moment. Similarly to his beautiful wife Kyla, his favourite destination is Hawaii (maybe that’s why they got married there!). When he’s not doing his thing you’ll find him on the golf course - his other happy place. His dancefloor filler is ‘Ride Wid Me’ by Nelly and his drink of choice is a coffee in the morning and a Zubrowka, cloudy apple and fresh lime at night.
Sean

Seano is a real outdoorsy type; a lover of campfires and mountains. New Zealand is his favourite destination and he yearns to make it to Iceland one day. When he’s not behind the camera you’ll find him cooking, running and tending to his plants. His tipple of choice is Vodka, followed by cider, often in quick succession and ‘Mr Brightside’ by The Killers will see him cutting a rug on the dancefloor after said tipples! A good time guy, Sean says of your big day, “Remember to party hard and have fun. It’s YOUR day!”.
Chris

With over 10 years of experience across various fields including fashion, events and weddings, Chris has been working with Love & Other for more than 5 years. Creative, energetic and optimistic, Bakes has the expertise to capture every moment with cinematic precision. He’s our best drone driver and captures a truly incredible bird's eye view of your special day from way up high. His advice to you is to enjoy your day and take it all in - making sure you take some time out for just the two of you. His favourite place is Spain and you’ll find him pretending he knows how to surf or sipping whiskey on the rocks during his down time.
Paul

Paul has over 10 years experience in the wedding industry so knows a thing or two about how to capture all of the beautiful moments you’ll treasure forever. A dad joke enthusiast, he’ll make sure your day is filled with endless laughs and will fit in like part of the furniture with all of your friends, family and bridal party. Catch him on the dancefloor later in the evening, camera in hand, catching those moments you might not remember the next day! Just watch out if ‘Cup of Life’ by Ricky Martin comes on! When he’s not snapping away, you’ll find him making artisanal bread (YUM) or pouring himself an Averna Amaro.
Karina

An energiser bunny and true creative at heart, Karina lives and breathes photography. When she’s not shooting, she’s putting her energy and creativity to work in any way she can. When Karina is behind the lens, her goal is to make you feel completely faithful that she’s going to do an incredible job and to allow you to just soak your special in! Daryl Braithwate’s ‘Horses’ gets her going “no matter what time of day or night” and you’ll find her sipping on a rosè when the job is done.
Dani

Dani is a curious and open soul, with a full heart. You’ll adore having her as part of your special day. When she’s not shooting she’s cuddling her big and loveable greyhound. ‘Canned Heat’ by Jamiroquai will get her on the dancefloor and you can guarantee she’ll have a glass of bubbles in hand. Her advice for the big day? “The pre-planning is done and dusted, the wheels are set in motion, so all that’s left to do is be present and feel the love.” We couldn’t agree more. Locally she cherishes the Adelaide Hills - further abroad Monte Marte in Paris has made its mark on her heart.
